DISCOVERY CHANNEL ANNOUNCES EPISODE LINEUP FOR "FROZEN PLANET"
-- 7-Part Series from Makers of Planet Earth Premieres March 18 at 8PM --
Discovery Channel announces its episodic lineup for FROZEN PLANET, the next landmark natural history series from Discovery Channel and the BBC. The seven-part series, narrated by Alec Baldwin, will provide the ultimate portrait of our earth's polar regions, where the scale and beauty of the scenery, the struggles of the native animals and the sheer power of nature is unlike anywhere else on the planet.
Airing over five weeks, the series will be bookended with two episodes airing on both premiere (3/18) and finale nights (4/15):
3/18: The Ends of the Earth / Spring
3/25: Summer
4/1: Winter
4/8: Frozen Planet: Making Of
4/15: On Thin Ice / Life in the Freezer
