SYFY WILL CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY BY UNLEASHING A MURDEROUS LEPRECHAUN IN THE SATURDAY ORIGINAL MOVIE "LEPRECHAUN'S REVENGE"

NEW YORK - February 27, 2012 - Syfy will hope the luck of the Irish spreads to a small town terrorized by a vengeful leprechaun in the special St. Patrick's Day Saturday Original Movie Leprechaun's Revenge, starring Billy Zane (Titanic) and William Devane (24).

In Leprechaun's Revenge, premiering Saturday, March 17 at 9PM (ET/PT), days before the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, a teenage girl unwittingly unleashes a murderous leprechaun upon the citizens of a small town. The creature goes on a violent rampage, slaughtering descendants of the original settlers who stole its gold. Now the girl and her family have four days to kill the leprechaun - otherwise she will die from the leprechaun curse. Leprechaun's Revenge is a production of After Dark Films.

Continuing the terror on Saturday, March 31 at 9PM (ET/PT), Syfy will premiere the Saturday Original Movie Seattle Superstorm, starring Esai Morales (Caprica) and Ona Grauer (The Collector). When a UFO crashes into Seattle's Puget Sound, it triggers unusual, deadly weather and geological phenomena. As the chaos escalates and the violent storms threaten to sweep across North America, the scientist (Morales) and soldier (Grauer) must stop the Seattle Superstorm before it spreads further - and annihilates the planet. Seattle Superstorm is a production of Mar Vista Entertainment and Two 4 the Money Media.
