ABC FAMILY HAS BEGUN PRODUCTION ON THE NEW ONE-HOUR SERIES "BUNHEADS" STARRING TONY AWARD(R)-WINNING ACTOR SUTTON FOSTER

Burbank, CA (April 13, 2012) - ABC Family has begun production on the new drama series, "Bunheads," filming in Los Angeles. Set to premiere on Monday, June 11th at 9:00pm ET/PT, "Bunheads" is the tale of a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man, moves to his sleepy coastal town, and takes an uneasy role at her new mother-in-law's dance school.

Executive-produced by Amy Sherman-Palladino ("Gilmore Girls") and headlined by Tony Award(R)-winning actor Sutton Foster, "Bunheads" also stars Kaitlyn Jenkins, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey Buntain and Emma Dumont. Kelly Bishop ("Gilmore Girls") guest stars as Fanny Flowers.
