HURT PEOPLE (Cinemax) - The potential William Petersen-led drama has found a home at the pay channel, which has a commissioned a pilot for the project. Said hour revolves around Hollis Brown (Petersen), "a veteran hitman employed by the crime family that killed his wife [who] has been enlisted to hunt down his estranged daughter who is intent on destroying those responsible for her mother's death." Peter Macmanus penned the hour and is executive producing alongside Petersen and Cynthia Chvatal as well as GK-tv's Graham King, Tim Headington and Craig Cegielski. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "America's Next Top Model" mainstays Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander won't be back for the show's 19th cycle, due this fall (@TyraBanks); Michael Oates Palmer has inked a two-year overall deal with Universal Television, home to his NBC scripts "The Hurt," originally set up at FX, and "American Exile" (Deadline.com); Perez Hilton and Rex Lee will guest alongside Lindsay Lohan in the May 15 episode of "Glee" (EOnline.com); and Taylor Cole will recur on "The Glades" as "a dynamic FDLE Bureau Chief" sent to "evaluate its high success rate in hopes of recreating it state-wide" (TVLine.com).
