MOCKINGBIRD LANE (NBC) - Cheyenne Jackson ("30 Rock") is set to guest star on the drama pilot, an imaginative reinvention of "The Munsters" as a visually spectacular one-hour drama. He'll play Steve ("healthy, handsome, confident, athletic, warm, and friendly"), Eddie's (Mason Cook) new Scout Master, "a widower with no children of his own who becomes smitten with Lily (Portia de Rossi)." The actor, who has also been cast as Jerry O'Rourke in HBO's Liberace biopic "Behind the Candelabra," joins the previously cast Charity Wakefield (as Marilyn), Eddie Izzard (as Grandpa) and Jerry O'Connell (as Herman). Bryan Singer is directing the Universal Television-based hour from a script by Bryan Fuller. (Deadline.com)

WENDELL & VINNIE (Nickelodeon) - Buddy Handleson ("Shake It Up") has booked a lead role on the comedy pilot, about an irresponsible goofball (Jerry Trainor) who becomes the guardian to his conservative genius 12-year old nephew (Handleson). Jay Kogen is behind the multi-camera project, which is being targeted for the network's Nick at Nite block. Aaron Kaplan is executive producing alongside Kogen. (Deadline.com)

Bush was used as as a prop in a beheading scene in said installment (Deadline.com); and Chris Eigeman is the latest "Gilmore Girls" alum to drop by ABC Family's "Bunheads" as "the director of a play that Michelle (Sutton Foster) and Fanny (Kelly Bishop) attend" (TVLine.com).
