NOW AND THEN (ABC Family, New!) - "Pretty Little Liars" executive producer I. Marlene King is developing a small screen take on her 1995 feature, about four teenage girls who spend a 1970 summer together. Christina Ricci, Demi Moore, Melanie Griffith and Rosie O'Donnell starred in said effort, which was directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)


ROGUE (DirecTV) - Marton Csokas ("Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter") has booked the male lead on the upcoming drama, about a morally and emotionally conflicted cop, Grace (Thandie Newton), who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions contributed to her son's death. Grace's search for the truth is further complicated by her forbidden relationship with the crime boss who may have played a hand in the crime. He'll play the aforementioned crime boss in the Entertainment One Television-based project. Production will begin next month in Vancouver for a premiere next summer. John Morayniss, Matthew Parkhill, Michael Rosenberg, Nick Hamm and Steven Marrs are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
