NBCUNIVERSAL'S STYLECANDY JOINS FORCES WITH APPAREL DESTINATION OLD NAVY AS OFFICIAL LAUNCH SPONSOR

New Multiplatform Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Content Partnership Between Style Media and DailyCandy - Two of the Most Powerful Brands in the Women's Lifestyle Space - to Debut During New York Fashion Week this September

On-Air and Online Campaign for Old Navy's Rockstar Jeans Collection to be Integrated in StyleCandy's Fashion Week Coverage, Spotlighting the Hottest Trend of the Day

LOS ANGELES - July 25, 2012 - StyleCandy, a new fashion and beauty multi-platform content initiative from Style Media and DailyCandy - two of the most powerful brands in the women's lifestyle space - announced today that Old Navy will be its official launch sponsor. Bringing the runway to reality, StyleCandy will debut in early September on-air and online during Spring Fashion Week 2012 - one of the biggest weeks of the year for the industry - on Style and StyleCandy.com (a microsite that drives users to myStyle.com and DailyCandy.com).

"The combined viewership and user-base of these two, distinct brands - Style and DailyCandy - allow StyleCandy to offer a unique opportunity for Old Navy that goes beyond the traditional media approach, truly encompassing every way in which consumers can access our content," said Alicia Muntzner, Vice President, Advertising Sales, Style.

Featuring looks handpicked by both Style and DailyCandy experts, StyleCandy will encourage women everywhere to get ahead of upcoming fashion and beauty trends. The campaign will consist of a series of sponsored on-air vignettes to air twice daily on Style, themed "Trend of the Day," providing viewers with a sneak peek inside the fashion week tents, plus tips on how to rock the runway looks.

Among the new styles featured in the short-form content will be Old Navy's Rockstar Jeans collection, a colorful denim line available in 31 shades. On Wednesday, September 19, Style will run a recap of the hottest trends from its fashion week coverage and debut the retailer's new Rockstar Jeans commercial.

"Old Navy is committed to making fashion fun, and StyleCandy epitomizes that spirit, showing shoppers how to play with current trends, like colored denim," said Michele Schuh, Director, Media, Old Navy. "Combining the power of NBCUniversal's robust television and digital audiences, this integration enables us to reach our customers through their passion points."

The on-air campaign will drive users online to StyleCandy.com which, along with myStyle.com and DailyCandy.com, will provide in-depth fashion week coverage and promotion for the Rockstar Jeans collection. Additionally, DailyCandy will highlight the new fashion line via a sponsored email to its millions of subscribers, as well as social media outreach to its million plus followers on Twitter and Facebook.

"We know that today's consumers are on multiple screens - particularly women who actively engage in digital media," said Fernando Romero, VP of Sales for NBCUniversal's DailyCandy. "Both Style and DailyCandy have long been relied upon for their fashion and lifestyle know-how; StyleCandy is a powerful way to bring together each brand's reach - DailyCandy's 2.8 million subscribers and Style's 78 million homes - to deliver fashion expertise to style savvy women wherever and whenever they want it."
