OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network presents "TV Guide Magazine's Top 25 Best Oprah Show Moments" counting down some of the most famous and memorable moments from "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The six episode series premieres Tuesday, August 28 with two back-to-back episodes airing at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET/PT, before moving to its regular time slot Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT on OWN.

Featuring new commentary from Oprah and TV Guide Magazine Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum, the series "TV Guide Magazine's Top 25 Best Oprah Show Moments" reveals never-before-seen, personal reflections of the most unforgettable interviews, guests, performances and milestones in the history-making show.

TV Guide Magazine meticulously went through over 4,500 episodes of footage from the 25 years of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" from 1986 to 2011 and selected the top 25 moments that defined the show. Winfrey reveals what she was thinking back then and what she feels watching the shows now while Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum reflects on the significance of these moments and the impact "The Oprah Winfrey Show" had on the viewers.

"The way Oprah related to and connected with people on The Oprah Winfrey Show allowed for highly compelling interviews and episodes that captured viewers far beyond her general audience," says TV Guide Magazine Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum. "These moments made such an impact that they are a part of television history that will forever be remembered as part of our culture."

The countdown reflects on favorite moments including; Tom Cruise's infamous couch jumping moment, Mattie Stepanek, the eleven-year-old poet and peacemaker who inspired the world with his courage, author of "A Million Little Pieces" James Frey's controversial interview, "The Sound of Music" cast reunion, and many other celebrity surprises and firsts in American entertainment culture.
