"STEVE HARVEY" FINDS THE FUNNY IN NEW DAYTIME SYNDICATED SERIES PREMIERING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2012

--Harvey brings his brand of common sense advice to daytime--

Chicago, IL - August 31, 2012 - Television gets a fresh new sense of humor when "Steve Harvey" premieres in syndication on Tuesday, September 4 (check local listings). Each weekday, comedian, radio show host and best-selling author Steve Harvey will offer his insightfully funny, common sense advice to those seeking solutions to their most personal relationship problems. Husbands and wives, moms and dads, boyfriends and girlfriends and more will open up as Harvey shares his wit and wisdom on the issues they face. Every hour features multiple topics such as marriage, dating, parenting, workplace issues, personal finance, friendship dilemmas and the daily dramas we face throughout our lives, all with Harvey's unique comedic spin.

Known for his best-selling dating advice book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man," Harvey will also share the naked truth about the male perspective on dating, marriage, love and sex, using humor to discuss and demystify why men do the things they do - and offering information and tips for viewers to get everything they want out of all the relationships that matter most in their lives.

Said Harvey, "I'm not a doctor or a therapist, but I am an expert on men - I know what makes us tick. So I'm going to bring that male perspective to daytime in the hopes of helping women at home who are wondering 'what's up' with their men." Harvey continued, "I'm so excited to begin this next phase of my career. I loved doing stand-up comedy more than anything else I've ever done in my life. But I gave it up for this. So I'm going to give it everything I've got."

Executive producer Alex Duda said, "This is a show for anyone who wants to live smarter, love better and laugh harder each and every day. Steve is going to bring a sense of joy to daytime as he helps all of us find the funny in all of life's trials and tribulations. Plus, viewers will get lots of info and tips they can apply to their lives."

On premiere day, Tuesday, September 4, Steve kicks things off by answering the studio audience's burning questions with his funny, frank answers in "Ask Steve." Next, it's Steve to the rescue when he helps the person behind the national headlines dubbed "The Worst Dater In America!" Then, Steve hears from a mom with a habit of sharing way too much information about her kids all over the web in a new trend called "over-sharenting." Plus, former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky reveals the best dating destinations from one side of the country to the other.

In addition to hosting his new daytime show, Harvey also serves as the host of the long-running syndicated game show, "Family Feud" and is the host of the #1 rated nationally syndicated morning radio show, "Steve Harvey Morning Show," which attracts approximately 7 million listeners each week. His first book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man was released in 2009 and became a #1 New York Times Bestseller, selling over 2 million copies and spending 64 weeks on this prestigious list. In December 2010, Harvey released his second book, Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find, Keep, and Understand a Man, which debuted at #1 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. The hit film based on Harvey's best-selling book, "Think Like A Man," starring Taraji P. Henson and Kevin Hart, debuted April 20, 2012 as the #1 movie in America for two weeks in a row.

"Steve Harvey" is produced by Endemol USA with Steve Harvey, Alex Duda and Rushion McDonald serving as executive producers. The show is cleared in 98% of the country, including all of the NBC Owned Television Stations, and is distributed in national syndication by NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. "Steve Harvey" is taped before a live studio audience at the state-of-the-art HD NBC 5 studios in downtown Chicago.
