New York, NY (September 5, 2012) - MTV today announced that the "2012 MTV Video Music Awards" will feature 90 seconds of exclusive footage from the final installment of Summit Entertainment's THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 during its LIVE telecast from STAPLES Center on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Pattinson and Lautner join the previously announced list of star VMA presenters including: The Wanted, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones, 2 Chainz, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and the "Fierce Five," the U.S. Women's Olympics Gymnastics Team that won the team gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games. Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, the "2012 MTV Video Music Awards" will also feature performers Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, Green Day, P!nk, Alicia Keys and One Direction.

In addition, its convergent programming and content will reach the entire interactive community, via MTV's more than 200 digital media properties around the world.
