"DOG WITH A BLOG," A NEW COMEDY TOLD FROM A CANINE POINT OF VIEW, PREMIERES FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 ON DISNEY CHANNEL

-- G Hannelius, Blake Michael, Francesca Capaldi, Beth Littleford, Regan Burns and Stephen Full Star--

Dogs rule in Disney Channel's "Dog With A Blog," a comedy series about a blended family and their talking and blogging dog, premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 (9:40 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The series, told from a canine point of view, follows the newly adopted dog Stan, step-siblings, Tyler, Avery and Chloe, and their parents Bennett and Ellen, as they adjust to life as a new family. "Dog With A Blog" follows the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie "Girl Vs. Monster" (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). The series will continue in its regular time slot beginning Sunday, November 4 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT).

In the premiere episode, Bennett adopts a shelter dog in the hopes that it will inspire Tyler and Avery to get along and bond over taking care of him. That happens - to some extent - when the kids discover that their seemingly ordinary dog can talk. From that moment on, Tyler and Avery agree on one thing: Stan's ability to speak must be kept a secret from everyone, even their parents. As the kids learn to work together to keep Stan's secret safe, they soon find that his canine point of view, whether in the home, in the yard or in the park, helps them navigate their new sibling situation and, ultimately, becomes the tie that binds the family.

To learn more about Stan, fans can visit his blog at SeeStanBlog.com beginning September 18. Posts will be uploaded weekly including those featured in the show and more. On September 18, Stan's Sneaky Blog game launches at SeeStanBlog.com where players must help Stan collect everything he needs to write his blog without parents, Bennett and Ellen, catching him.

The series stars G Hannelius ("Den Brother," "Good Luck Charlie") as Avery, Blake Michael ("Lemonade Mouth") as Tyler, Francesca Capaldi ("A.N.T. Farm") as Chloe, Beth Littleford ("Crazy, Stupid Love," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") as Ellen and Regan Burns ("Wizards of Waverly Place") as Bennett. Stephen Full ("I'm In the Band") voices Stan who is played by two talented canine performers, Kuma and Mick.
