TNT Welcomes "Castle" to the Lineup with 11-Hour Marathon on Sept. 26

TNT to Feature "Castle" Each Wednesday, With Three Episodes in Primetime and Six in Daytime

TNT will present a special 11-hour marathon of the hit drama Castle - starring Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Desperate Housewives) and Stana Katic (Quantum of Solace, TNT's The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice) - when the show joins the network's lineup Wednesday, Sept. 26. Beginning at noon (ET/PT), TNT will present eight favorite episodes from the series' first four seasons. Then at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), TNT will start the series from the beginning, with the first three episodes.

Beginning Oct. 3, Castle will settle into its regular spot in the TNT lineup, with daytime episodes slated to air each Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. (ET/PT) and primetime episodes set for 8-11 p.m. (ET/PT).

TNT's Castle Marathon: Wednesday, Sept. 26

Noon - "Little Girl Lost" (Season 1) - Castle contends with Beckett's ex-boyfriend, a handsome FBI agent investigating the disappearance of a little girl.

1 p.m. - "The Third Man" (Season 2) - A family discovers a dead man in the house; Castle is featured as one of New York's most-eligible bachelors.

2 p.m. - "Overkill" (Season 2) - A robbery-homicide prompts Beckett to invite Demming to assist on a case; the investigation becomes a competition for Beckett's attention.

3 p.m. - "Punked" (Season 3) - A young mathematician is shot with a 200-year-old bullet, inspiring wild theories by Castle about a time-traveling murderer.

4 p.m. - "Eye of the Beholder" (Season 4) - A sexy insurance investigator (Kristin Lehman) with a secret helps Castle and Beckett when a valuable sculpture is stolen and someone is murdered; a rich museum benefactor (Jessica Tuck) garners suspicion.

5 p.m. - "Pandora" (Season 4) - Castle and Beckett discover the killer they are pursuing is part of an international conspiracy and they must work with a CIA agent with whom Castle has a history. Jennifer Beals guest-stars.

6 p.m. - "Once Upon a Crime" (Season 4) - When two women are found dead dressed as fairytale characters, Castle and Beckett must race to find the killer before he strikes again.

7 p.m. - "A Dance with Death" (Season 4) - When Odette Morton, a contestant on the hit competition show A Night of Dance, is found murdered in her dressing room, Castle and Beckett must navigate the case's many twists and twirls without stepping on each other's toes.

8 p.m. - "Flowers for Your Grave" (Season 1: Episode 1) - A beautiful woman is murdered, her nude body covered with rose petals. So how exactly does famed mystery novelist Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) fit in to this real-life whodunit? That's what we want to know, because everyone loves a mystery.

9 p.m. - "Nanny McDead" (Season 1: Episode 2) - Castle and Beckett take a peek under the sheets of a Manhattan couple when a young nanny is found dead.

10 p.m. - "Hedge Fund Homeboys" (Season 1: Episode 3) - Castle and Beckett uncover the dark side of prep school teen culture when a body turns up in Central Park.

About Castle

The hit mystery series Castle stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. The series centers on Richard Castle (Fillion), a famous mystery novelist and divorced father raising his teenage daughter, while being kept grounded by his Broadway diva mother. He is creatively blocked until the NYPD questioned him in connection with a series of murders staged to imitate crime scenes from his books.

Castle finds inspiration in NYPD Detective Kate Beckett (Katic), a bright and aggressive homicide detective with a fascination for odd and offbeat cases stemming from the years-old unsolved murder of her own mother. Though they instantly clash, sparks of another sort began to fly, leading both to danger and a hint of romance as Castle steps in to help find the copycat killer. Once that initial case is solved, Castle and Beckett continue to investigate strange homicides in New York, combining Castle's writer intuition and Beckett's creative detective work.

Castle also stars Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan and Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers. Castle is produced by ABC Studios and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Andrew Marlowe is the show's creator/executive producer, along with executive producers Rob Bowman, David Amann, Laurie Zaks and Armyan Bernstein.
