ION TELEVISION GETS IN THE RING WITH THE DEBUT OF "WWE(R) MAIN EVENT(R)" PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3 AT 8:00 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, NY (September 27, 2012) - Fans of WWE are finally getting their midweek fix with the brand new installment WWE Main Event, a weekly, action-packed series premiering Wednesday, October 3 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on ION Television. Featuring the WWE Superstars and Divas of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, including John Cena(R), WWE Champion CM Punk(TM), World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus(TM), Alberto Del Rio(R), The Miz(R), Kofi Kingston(R), Eve(R) and Alicia Fox(R), it's a must-see for longtime devotees and those looking for character-driven, high-octane entertainment.
