TV GUIDE NETWORK BRINGS U.S. AUDIENCES A TASTE OF DOWN UNDER WITH "ROVE LA" PREMIERING SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6

Australia's King of Talk, Rove McManus, counts Russell Brand and Adam Lambert among his first guests

LOS ANGELES (September 27, 2012) - TV Guide Network today announced the U.S. premiere of the second season of "Rove LA" airing Saturday, October 6 at midnight ET/PT. "Rove LA" is a weekly, one-hour comedy talk show hosted by Australia's King of Talk, Rove McManus, who has been interviewing Hollywood's biggest stars for over 10 years running. Actor Russell Brand, "American Idol" finalist Adam Lambert and actress Kristen Schaal will be Rove's first guests on his 2012 season.

Taped in front of a live audience at Warner Bros. studios, Rove invites three of the hottest stars to share his couch for an informal chat - often with a drink in hand. The casual Aussie atmosphere allows the celebs to relax and enjoy themselves which often leads to unpredictable television. In addition to studio guests, Rove will continue to explore the wonderful strangeness of Hollywood by hitting the streets of LA to unearth even more unbelievable, 'only in America,' characters and events.

Rove said, "I am very excited to be back and even more excited to be in our new home at Warner Bros. I have long been a fan of all things Bugs Bunny and Superman so it seems like a perfect fit. 'Rove LA' season one gave us a fantastic foundation to build on, and I can't wait to turn some of our new ideas into reality."

After starting his career as a stand-up comedian, Rove became Australia's most successful talk show host and one of the country's biggest television producers. In his first season of "Rove LA," Justin Timberlake, Hugh Jackman, Eva Longoria, Steve Carell, P!nk, Olivia Munn and Seth MacFarlane were just some of the celebrities who graced his couch. TV Guide Network aired the ten never-before-seen in the U.S. episodes this summer.

"Rove LA" is produced by Roving Enterprises and Avalon Television and airs Sunday nights in Australia on FOX8.
