In "The Mummy," American adventurer Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) teams up with an archaeologist (Rachel Weisz) and her bumbling brother (John Hannah) to stop an evil mummy they accidentally brought back to life. Imhotep, once an Egyptian high priest, was buried alive after murdering Pharaoh Seti I and trying to run off with his wife.
