A&E to Open "Storage Wars: NY" on Tuesday, December 11

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E will roll out the third installment in its "Storage Wars" franchise next month.

"Storage Wars: NY" - featuring a brand new group of urban explorers in a modern-day treasure hunt - is slated to premiere with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, December 11 at 10:00/9:00c following new episodes of its parent series at 9:00/8:00c.

Original Productions is behind the project, which has a six-episode order.

Last December A&E bowed "Storage Wars: Texas," now in its second season.
