WHAT: "Pretty Tough," based on the successful eponymous book by Liz Tigelaar, is set in the privileged and picturesque world of Malibu's elite high school and centers on Charlie and Krista Brown, two sisters at opposite ends of the popularity spectrum, who must learn to play together on the soccer field and in life.

"Pretty Tough" will bring millions of fans who fell in love with the novel face to face with their favorite characters as they encounter new obstacles and find the true meaning of family and friendship. The 5-episode series stars Adelaide Kane, Crystal Young, "2 Broke Girls" star Beth Behrs, is written by Marguerite MacIntyre, directed by Stewart Hendler and produced by Tim Williams.
