SPRING IS IN THE AIR AS ABC FAMILY PRESENTS "SPRING CRUSH" FOUR DAY EVENT RUNS APRIL 18TH - 21ST

Featuring the World Premiere of the ABC Family Original Movie "Lovestruck: The Musical" Plus the ABC Family Premieres of "Fame" and "Tangled"

(Burbank, March 25, 2013) ABC Family springs headfirst into love with "Spring Crush," a four day celebration of song, dance and a little romance. Starting Thursday, April 18 and running through Sunday, April 21, viewers can catch fan favorite films, plus the world premiere of the ABC Family original movie "Lovestruck: The Musical," airing on Sunday, April 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) starring Chelsea Kane (ABC Family's "Baby Daddy"). Plus, the ABC Family premieres of "Fame" on Thursday, April 18 (8:30-10:30 PM ET/PT) and "Tangled" on Saturday, April 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

This year, "Spring Crush" will also feature "Step Up 3," "Another Cinderella Story," "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song," "Enchanted," "When in Rome," "You Again," "Hairspray" (2007) and "The Princess Diaries."

"Lovestruck: The Musical" Harper (Jane Seymour), a former Broadway star, is livid when her daughter Mirabella (Sara Paxton) decides to quit dancing to get married to her sweetheart Marco (Alexander DiPersia). Determined to put a stop to the nuptials, Harper flies off to the Italian wedding site. Babying an old dance injury, she takes a swig from a strange bottle that is supposed to dull the pain. Instead, the elixir magically turns her 30 years younger.

Harper's younger appearance (Chelsea Kane of ABC Family's "Baby Daddy" plays Young Harper) allows her to secretly infiltrate the wedding - only to confront a huge obstacle in Mirabella's father, Ryan (Tom Wopat), who can recognize his ex-wife in any form. After he too experiences the reverse-aging effects of the potion (Drew Seeley plays Young Ryan), Ryan teams with Harper to reverse the damage she's done to Mirabella and Marco's relationship, hopefully in time to save the wedding.

"Fame" (2009) follows a group of students over the four years they attend New York City High School of Performing Arts. Kevin, Malik, Jenny, Marco, Neil, Denise, Alice, Victor and Joy struggle to balance their studies, home lives, loves and friendships, while still trying to achieve their dreams of stardom.

In Disney's 50th animated feature "Tangled," Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore) dreams of leaving the lonely tower she's grown up in. When a charming outlaw named Flynn (voiced by Zachary Levi) turns up, she forces him to sneak her out into the world which she has never seen. But their adventures go awry when they find themselves on the run from royal guards, various thugs and Rapunzel's very angry mother.
