DisneyChannel.com Extends "Doof's Daily Dirt" Web Series For Another 26 Episodes Beginning This Summer

In this special webisode, "Doof is Due! Shark Tank Announcement," Dr. Doofenshmirtz returns to his host desk to discuss his latest money making scheme -- a visit with the Sharks of ABC's "Shark Tank." In an attempt to get investor's for his latest "inator" invention, Doof creatively lands a coveted spot on ABC'S hit reality series.

"I had a lovely Twitter chat with the Sharks - and after being rejected several times - I did what any reasonable mad scientist with a brilliant idea would do: I hacked their Facebook page and blackmailed them to let me on the show," shared Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

A clip of Dr. Doof's pitch will be shown during the season finale of "Shark Tank" today, FRIDAY, MAY 17 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The full three-minute appearance can be seen beginning Saturday morning on Disney.com/DoofSharkTank and Doof's YouTube Channel.

ew episodes of "Doof's Daily Dirt" will premiere this Summer.

"Our team is having a great time with 'Doof's Daily Dirt' so we're thrilled to have it extended," said Lauren DeVillier, vice president of digital media at Disney Channels Worldwide. "We can't wait for even more of Doof's distinctive commentary and completely unexpected insights."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz is voiced by Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire. The show airs Friday nights on Disney Channel, and also stars Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, Mitchel Musso as Jeremy, Caroline Rhea as mom Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Richard O'Brien as dad Lawrence Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner as Isabella and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Monogram. "Phineas and Ferb" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
