MURDER IN THE FIRST (TNT; W: Eric Lodal & Steven Bochco; D: TBA) - Ian Anthony Dale ("Hawaii Five-0") is the latest addition to the pilot, a crime drama that will intimately dissect a single murder case over an entire season, from the commitment of the crime through the investigation, arrest and trial. He'll play Lieutenant Jim Koto, "a no-nonsense homicide police lieutenant with movie star good looks" who supervises San Francisco homicide detectives Terry Seagrave (Taye Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson). Bess Rous, Mimi Kirkland, Raphael Sbarge and Steven Weber also star. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Rachel Miskowiec will join "Katie" as executive producer for its upcoming second season, replacing Michael Morrison (Deadline.com); and Aaron Hill will recur on ABC Family's "Twisted" as "the kind of guy that you would bring home to meet your parents who also a brave and fearless cop" (Deadline.com).
