BROOKE BURKE-CHARVET OPENS UP ABOUT HER CANCER, CAREER, MARRIAGES, DIVORCE AND HOME SCHOOLING WITH GIULIANA RANCIC WHEN THE "E! ENTERTAINMENT SPECIAL: BROOKE BURKE-CHARVET" PREMIERES THURSDAY, JUNE 20th at 10 PM ET/PT ON E!

"When you hear the C word, when you hear cancer you, honestly, at first I thought am I am going to die? Like I'm not going to die, right?"

Los Angeles, CA - June 17, 2013 - She swam with sharks, rumba'd her way to victory on "Dancing With The Stars" and beat thyroid cancer - all while looking absolutely stunning. Mother, actress, dancer, author, model, and television personality Brooke Burke-Charvet welcomes E!'s Giuliana Rancic into her family's Malibu, CA home for an intimate interview and revealing look inside her private world, when the "E! Entertainment Special: Brooke Burke-Charvet" premieres Thursday, June 20th at 10 PM only on E!

It's been a long road for the glamorous star since her childhood days as a tomboy in Tucson, Arizona, but Brooke Burke-Charvet has certainly become a working wife and mom who truly does it all. Brooke shares her journey with Giuliana, including some surprising recollections of her not-so-feminine girlhood adventures. She also speaks openly about her first marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, the birth of their two beautiful daughters, and what ultimately led to their divorce. And she recalls her crazy days traveling the world as the bikini-clad host of E!'s "Wild On!," and talks about the unseen sidekick who traveled everywhere with her during those years - her first born daughter, Neriah. Brooke took the term "working mom" to a new level as she toted the toddler along for every unpredictable adventure - a trip to the jungles of Belize included!

Brooke's husband, actor David Charvet ("Baywatch," "Melrose Place") joins Giuliana and his wife to share the romantic details of how they reconnected years after a love affair in Mexico. They address their controversial decision to remove their kids from traditional school and build a classroom at home in what used to be their basement. Giuliana is even treated to a tour of the classroom!

In the fall of 2013 during her sixth season as co-host of "Dancing With The Stars," Brooke was riding high when she was blind-sided by a thyroid cancer diagnosis. She recounts to Giuliana the extreme mental duress she endured following the diagnosis and how she managed to stay strong for her family. Plus she shares how that experience - perhaps the worst of her life - made her marriage stronger than ever.

For more on Brooke, David, their family, and to find out what she thinks is more difficult than childbirth, don't miss "E! Entertainment Special: Brooke Burke-Charvet" on Thursday, June 20th at 10 PM ET/PT ONLY ON E!
