TYRANT (FX/Fox 21; W: Craig Wright; D: David Yates) - Mehdi Dehbi and Moran Atias are the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about an unassuming American family - Barry, Molly and their kids - drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. Dehbi is set as Abdul, "a handsome young man assigned to keep Barry's teenaged son Sammy out of trouble"; while Atias will play Leila, "the stunning, elegant and intelligent wife of Barry's older brother Jamal and strong mother of Ahmed, the bridegroom." Production begins later this year in Morocco. (Deadline.com)
