NEW EPISODES OF CMT'S HIT SERIES "DOG AND BETH: ON THE HUNT" PREMIERE SATURDAY, AUGUST 24 AT 9 P.M. ET/PT

Leland's 18-Year-Old Son Joins His Family On The Hunt For The First Time

LOS ANGELES - August 22, 2013 - CMT's current No. 1 series, DOG AND BETH: ON THE HUNT, returns with brand new episodes on a new night and time this Saturday, August 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. This marks the premiere of the first of 11 new episodes, and this time, bounty hunting legends Dog, Beth and Leland are joined by Leland's 18-year-old son, Dakota, for his very first hunt.

In Saturday's all-new episode, Leland's son, Dakota, is graduating high school with honors and wants to join the family business. He claims to be a natural-born warrior, but before the Chapmans can give him his badge, he must prove himself and pass a series of grueling tests including use of weapons, tactical skills and participating in one of the most exciting hunts ever on Hawaii's Big Island.

Each week, DOG AND BETH: ON THE HUNT follows the Chapmans as they arrive in a different city to work with local bondsman offices and their team of bounty hunters. Upon arrival, the Chapmans will bring their years of experience to every aspect of the business, from the writing of bonds to the implementation of tactical tracking and hi-tech device training. With their trademark no-holds barred candor and strong belief in second chances, the Chapmans will both motivate and inspire the local bounty hunters as they join forces on adrenaline-filled hunts, all the while showing their contemporaries a few new tricks along the way.

Dog and Beth are an iconic television duo and the most celebrated bounty hunters in the business today. In addition to eight successful seasons of their hit reality series, Dog Chapman is the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestselling book You Can Run But You Can't Hide and his follow-up memoir Where Mercy Is Shown, Mercy Is Given. DOG AND BETH: ON THE HUNT was created by Dog and Beth Chapman through their production company, Entertainment By Bonnie and Clyde. The series is executive-produced by Electus (Ben Silverman, Chris Grant and Jimmy Fox), Alan Deutsch, Rob VanAlkemade and CMT's Jayson Dinsmore, Joe Livecchi and Matt Trierweiler.
