Hallmark Movie Channel Original World Premiere Backdoor Pilot
Saturday, October 5 (9PM ET/PT, 8C)
Starring: Gail O'Grady, Michelle Harrison, Larry Miller, Peter Benson, Malcolm Stewart, Colleen Winton
"The Mystery Cruise" based on the book The Santa Cruise by New York Times bestselling authors, Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark, centers on best friends and impending partners, Alvirah Meehan, a lottery winner turned amateur sleuth and Regan Reilly, a private investigator. Alvirah, Regan and their husbands join a murder mystery cruise in honor of Regan's mom Nora's new book. But, when Alvirah sees a real murder attempt, she and Regan must find a way to keep the intended victim safe while trying to find proof to expose the murderer. Meanwhile, the ladies husbands have a mystery to solve as well when they run into a counterfeiter and are also called upon to help solve a string of petty thefts.
