Oxygen Media Announces Series Greenlight of "Tattoos After Dark" to Premiere January 2014
This latest greenlight comes on the heels of the success of Oxygen's hit tattoo competition series "Best Ink," which returns for season three in December.

NEW YORK - October 7, 2013 - Oxygen Media further delves into the tattoo genre with the pick-up of "Tattoos After Dark," chronicling the outrageous antics that take place during the night shifts at two popular tattoo shops in Los Angeles. From the producers of "Jersey Shore," "Tattoos After Dark" is scheduled to premiere in January 2014 with 12 half-hour episodes. This latest greenlight comes on the heels of the success of Oxygen's hit tattoo competition series "Best Ink," which returns for season three in December. Distributed by NBCUniversal, the format for "Tattoos After Dark" will be featured at MIPCOM this week.

"Tattoos After Dark" uncovers the wild and crazy shenanigans that take place after hours at two tattoo parlors in LA- House of Ink, in the heart of the Venice boardwalk, and Ink Candy, steps away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Nothing is off-limits as the cameras capture the late night chaos that goes down with the incredibly talented artists and the over-the-top clients looking to get inked. From the guy who comes in asking for a bat tattoo on his face to a couple who wants matching tattoos to express their undying love even though they just met that night... you never know who will stumble in, or what they will look like walking out.
