NBCSN and Hockey East Sign Multi-Year Extension

NBCSN Will Televise a Minimum of Five Hockey East Games Annually

NBCSN's Live Coverage of Hockey East Begins on October 25 at 8 p.m. ET with Massachusetts at Maine

Stamford, Conn. - October 8, 2013 - NBCSN and Hockey East announced a two-year extension to their national television rights agreement today. Beginning with the upcoming 2013-14 college hockey season and continuing through the 2014-15 season, NBCSN will annually televise a minimum of five Hockey East games, and up to 12 regular-season games over the next two years. The network's coverage of Hockey East begins on Friday, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET when Massachusetts travels to Alfond Arena in Orono, Maine to take on Maine.

As part of the agreement, Boston University will appear three times on NBCSN and Massachusetts will appear twice. No. 4 Boston College, New Hampshire and Maine will also play games on the network this season.

NBCSN's 2013-14 Hockey East schedule includes Northeastern - No. 4 Boston College on Friday, November 1 at 8 p.m. ET, North Dakota - Boston University on Friday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET, Boston University - Massachusetts on Friday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET., and Boston University - New Hampshire on Friday, February 14 at 7 p.m. ET.

Dave Strader and Dave Goucher, will split play-by-play duties for NBCSN's coverage of Hockey East. Ken Hodge will serve as an analyst for all Hockey East games on NBCSN.

NBC SPORTS LIVE EXTRA

NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets, will stream all Hockey East games telecast on NBCSN. All games will be live streamed via "TV Everywhere," the media industry's effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

For desktops, NBC Sports Live Extra can be accessed at NBCSports.com/liveextra. The NBC Sports Live Extra app for mobile devices and tablets is available at the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and on select Android handset and tablet devices within Google Play.

NBCSN will live stream to PCs, mobile devices and tablets through NBC Sports Live Extra, and to the digital platforms of participating cable, satellite, and telco services, via "TV Everywhere," which is available on an authenticated basis to subscribers of participating MVPDs.
