MATT HRANEK SEARCHES FOR THE PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS THAT EMBODY THE AMERICAN SPIRIT IN NEW ESQUIRE NETWORK SERIES, "ALTERNATE ROUTE"

- Six-Part Original Series Premieres Wednesday, November 20 -

LOS ANGELES - October 30, 2013 - Matt Hranek's job as a photographer takes him all over the country to document all that embodies Americana. He created a blog to share the best discoveries from his travels, The William Brown Project, an expertly curated collection celebrating the old-school, authentic and timeless -- and the big, memorable characters who make it all possible. The new original series ALTERNATE ROUTE continues Matt's obsessions when it premieres on Esquire Network Wednesday, November 20 at 10:30p e/p.

Each half-hour episode of ALTERNATE ROUTE finds Matt traveling to a new location, driving a vintage automobile and game for adventure. He's interested in the true culture of a place, be it high (artisanal cocktails and master-tailored suits) or low (hot dog stands and American-made blue jeans). And as an avid sportsman, he's always up for an adrenaline rush... whether it's an ill-advised fishing trip off the coast of Long Island, a few laps behind the wheel of a stock car in Nashville, or gigging frogs by moonlight in the Florida Everglades. Other locations include Charleston, Chicago and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Across America, ALTERNATE ROUTE is your guide to stuff well made, stories well told and a life well played.

ALTERNATE ROUTE is produced by Coolfire Originals in association with NoCoast Originals, with Jeff Keane, Tim Breitbach, Steve Luebbert, Jon Maurice, Brad Carsten, Charlie Smith, Aaron Bowden and Nicole Solomon serving as executive producers.
