Viewers Storm the Air with New "Adult Swim Bump Builder" App

AT&T Synced-Up as Multi-Screen Presenting Launch Sponsor

Adult Swim, basic cable television's #1 network in Total Day for the past eight consecutive years among adults 18-34, 18-49 & 18-24 and men 18-34, 18-49 & 18-24, has launched the free Adult Swim Bump Builder app. The app allows viewers to create their own bumps and submit them for inclusion during the linear telecast; giving fans the opportunity to interact with the network and potentially see their own user-generated content on the television screen. The app will also sync with Adult Swim's television programming on Monday nights by unlocking exclusive content triggered by bumps.

The Adult Swim bumps have helped create a voice for the network, speaking to the audience with simple white text on a plain black background. The random facts, current events and byte-sized witticisms contained in the bumps have helped establish the Adult Swim brand. While Adult Swim fans have already been creating their own bumps online through the official Web site, the new Adult Swim Bump Builder app will be the first time they can now submit them for on-air consideration. Fans can now 'officially' talk back, submitting their own clever remarks for possible broadcast on-air, becoming even more connected to the network.

Along with the Bump Builder tool, the app also contains a syncing feature that will open fun, unique content accessible only in the app. This exclusive content will be available on Monday nights, with the sync functionality being triggered by the on-air bumps. When the bump engages the app, expect to see anything from polls and Adult Swim trivia to full-length, never-before-seen pilots. Also every night of the week during the programming block, fans can also interact with the network and other fans on the new social feed in the app to further immerse themselves in the Adult Swim world.

As presenting launch sponsor for the Adult Swim Bump Builder app, AT&T branding like distinct logo placement and pre-roll video will appear across the app functionalities. Throughout the launch period, AT&T content will be updated to keep the experience fresh for users. As part of the overall Adult Swim promotional push to download the app, Adult Swim will feature custom on-air spots and digital media presented by AT&T.

The Adult Swim Bump Builder app is the latest addition to the network's digital portfolio. Adult Swim's digital offerings have grown over the past year to include live streaming, independent games published on Steam, and a full mobile slate with a total of more than 50 million app downloads to-date.

To download for iOS, visit the App Store. For Android devices, visit Google Play.
