COMEDY CENTRAL(R) RENEWS "TOSH.0" FOR SEASONS SIX, SEVEN AND EIGHT

30-Episode Sixth Season to Debut on Tuesday, February, 18 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT

Fifth Season Finale of "Tosh.0" Premieres Tonight

NEW YORK, December 10, 2013 -- Daniel Tosh and "Tosh.0" will continue on in 2014... and 2015... and 2016, as Comedy Central has given its hit series a three-season renewal, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, Comedy Central. The sixth season of "Tosh.0" will consist of 30 episodes and premiere on Tuesday, February 18 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Said Alterman, "We believe 'Tosh.0' has the potential to resonate with our audience, and we want to give it time to connect."

Said Tosh, "I am extremely fortunate and very grateful that I can continue to work with such fun and talented people on a very supportive network. Sorry for the lack of snark - I will leave that open for the comments section."

Currently in its fifth season, which concludes tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, "Tosh.0" ranks as the #1 entertainment series on all of television on Tuesday nights among Men 18-24 during its fall run and continues its break-out ratings success for Comedy Central, averaging 3.0 million total viewers and a 2.2 Adults 18-49 rating across its current season*.

"Tosh.0" premiered on June 4, 2009 and features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode includes a "CeWEBrity Profile" or Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own "Web Redemption."

"Tosh.0" is executive produced by Tosh, Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

The über-popular "Tosh.0" blog, which is one of Comedy Central's most-visited properties, continues to be updated daily with blog posts, web-exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interactive features. Viewers can follow Tosh on Twitter (currently with 9 million followers) as he live tweets during the show and also by becoming a fan of "Tosh.0" on Facebook (currently at 9.6 million fans).

Fans of "Tosh.0" can get an enhanced video and interactive experience with the updated "Tosh.0" iOS app. Now optimized for the iPad, the App features full episodes and episode playlists; a new blog interface which allows fans to consume the blog all on one page with the ability to interact and share; and an upload function for fans to send videos and photos from their iPhone or iPad directly to "Tosh.0."
