INTO THIN AIR (ABC Family, New!) - Lizzy Weiss ("Switched at Birth") is developing a new project at the cable channel billed as "a high-concept family drama with thriller elements." No other details were given about the hour which Weiss will executive produce alongside Paul Stupin. (THR.com)


UNTITLED JERROD CARMICHAEL PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Comedian Jerrod Carmichael ("The Goodwin Games") has scored a presentation order from the Peacock for a new semi-autobiographical comedy about "a consummate optimist (Carmichael) who is eager to take on the world, but is too busy taking on everyone and everything in his small corner of it." Scott Ellis is on board to helm the project with Mike Pennie and Ravi Nandan executive producing, presumably alongside Carmichael. Production is set to begin next week. (Deadline.com)
