"LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL" ANNOUNCES "#ENDWINTERNOW" WEEK FEBRUARY 10-14, 2014
New York, NY - February 7, 2014 - Like most of America these days, "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan are sick of winter. They've had enough of this year's polar vortexes and snowmageddons! For those in the same state of mind, the hosts will give winter-weary viewers a break with "#EndWinterNow" week, a series of daily summer-themed segments.
With a certain famous groundhog predicting six more weeks of winter, "LIVE's" viewers are screaming "snow more!" And "LIVE" heard their call. Beginning Monday, February 10, "LIVE" is fighting back against this year's snowpocalyptic weather by transforming the set into a tropical oasis, complete with destination-themed backdrops, and segments that are sure to get the "LIVE" audience feeling sun-kissed. From tips on sunless tanning, including spray tans for members of the studio audience, to a segment featuring a gnarly surfing workout, Ripa and Strahan will bring a little sunshine to daytime TV.
