When Fallon takes the reigns of NBC's iconic late-night talk show on February 17th, he will join an exclusive club of talk show host royalty that includes the renowned Johnny Carson, touted as the first host to bring massive success to "The Tonight Show." With a mutual admiration for those that came before them and each other, the late night hosts open up about their own relationship and discuss whether the pressure to keep people watching has caused a rift between them.

The special also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the media storm that has been making headlines for over five years. Lauer's intimate interview takes viewers through the current transition as well as the previous shifts in 2009. Both hosts describe their reactions to the news, while Fallon talks about what he expects from the new timeslot and Leno shares his future plans.
