ROSIE O'DONNELL RETURNS TO ABC FAMILY'S HIT DRAMA SERIES "THE FOSTERS"

Burbank, CA (April 29, 2014) - Emmy Award-winning comedian, host, and actor Rosie O'Donnell will return to guest star on ABC Family's hit drama series "The Fosters." O'Donnell reprises her role as Rita Henricks, a tough yet compassionate woman who works in the foster care system and grows close to Callie (Maia Mitchell). She will appear in two episodes to air in August.

"The Fosters" is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. The second season of "The Fosters" premieres on Monday, June 16 at 9:00PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

Austin ("Wizards of Waverly Place") as Jesus Adams Foster, Hayden Byerly ("Parenthood") as Jude Adams Foster, David Lambert ("Aaron Stone") as Brandon Adams Foster, Maia Mitchell ("Teen Beach Movie") as Callie Jacob, Danny Nucci ("Titanic") as Mike Foster and Cierra Ramirez ("The Secret Life of the American Teenager") as Mariana Adams Foster.
