Disney Junior's "Pirate and Princess Summer" annual programming event kicks off FRIDAY, JUNE 27 on Disney Channel with new episodes of Emmy-nominated hit series "Sofia the First" and "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" (9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. ET/PT, respectively). All summer long, new episodes of the two series will alternate with Friday premieres FRIDAY, JULY 4 - FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 (9:00 a.m., ET/PT). All episodes will be made available a week prior to their television debut on WATCHDisneyJunior.com and via the WATCH Disney Junior app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch to authenticated pay TV subscribers.

Among the premieres are an episode of "Jake and the Never Land Pirates," featuring "Supernanny" Jo Frost as Captain Hook's childhood nanny on Friday, July 18; Ginnifer Goodwin ("Once Upon A Time") as the castle's kitchen maid, who aspires to be an inventor on "Sofia the First," on Friday, July 25; and Robert Morse ("Mad Men") as an elderly retired sorcerer in "Sofia the First" on Friday, August 8. Classic Disney Princess Mulan, voiced by Ming-Na Wen ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), makes her debut appearance on "Sofia the First" on Friday, August 15.

On Friday, June 20, the WATCH Disney Junior app will release the games "Quest for the Four Swords" and "Sofia's Enchanted Journey" exclusively for Android users. Beginning Friday, June 27, DisneyJunior.com/summer will debut "The Power of Me" music video, a summer anthem performed by Sofia and Jake meant to encourage kids to make a difference in the world.

"Sofia the First" and "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" consistently rank among the top preschool programs in Kids 2-5, with "Sofia the First" ranking as the #1 series overall in Girls 2-5, season to date. Both series have been embraced across all Disney businesses, including Disney Parks & Resorts, where they are prominently featured in the popular "Disney Junior Live on Stage!" attraction at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The series are also highlighted in the 103-city tour of "Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate & Princess Adventure."
