HYSTERIA (Amazon; W: Shaun Cassidy; D: Otto Bathurst) - Adan Canto ("Mixology") has scored the male lead on the drama pilot, about Dr. Logan Harlow (Mena Suvari), an exceptionally bright, driven, complicated, charming but socially awkward neurologist/psychiatrist at the University of Texas Medical School who travels to her hometown of Austin, TX to investigate a mysterious epidemic among high school girls that may be spreading through technology. He'll play Matt Sanchez, "a self-deprecating survivor whose sister, Daisy, was best friends with Logan when they were kids and who begins to enter a complicated relationship with Logan." In addition, Otto Bathurst is on board to direct. James McDaniel, Josh Stewart, T.R. Knight, Jenessa Grant and Joseph David Jones also star. (THR.com)

IMPASTOR (TV Land/CTS; W: Christopher Vane; D: Rob Greenberg) - Michael Rosenbaum ("Smallville") has booked the lead role on the single-camera comedy pilot, about "a lowlife on the run from his debts (Rosenbaum) who hides away in a small town by conning its residents into thinking he's their newly hired gay pastor." His casting lifts said contingency on the project, which has also added Rob Greenberg as director and executive producer. (Deadline.com)
