NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS IN "THE FIXER," NEW ACTION-THRILLER MINISERIES COMMENCING PRODUCTION NOW IN MONTREAL

NEW YORK, July 16, 2014 -- Principal photography has commenced in Montreal on the new action-thriller, The Fixer. The four-hour miniseries event is produced by Muse Entertainment and distributed worldwide by Sonar Entertainment outside of Canada, for which Muse Distribution International retains rights. The Fixer will be featured by Sonar during MIPCOM, 2014.

The Fixer is directed by Peter Howitt (Sliding Doors, Johnny English, Defying Gravity) and stars Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss). Dane currently stars on The Last Ship and Robertson stars on Murder in the First, both of which recently premiered to strong ratings on TNT.

Suspicious of the "official answers" to an oil rig disaster, Ellie Molaro (Robertson), investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board, spearheads a private investigation with a secret tipster named Carter (Dane). Carter claims that a conspiracy of "Fixers" are behind the worst disasters in the country, all rigged to manipulate the stock market, and reap billions for a select few. Now, their largest operation in decades is an impending, catastrophic event targeting Washington, D.C. and the only way they can succeed is if Ellie and Carter are among the casualties.

Producer of The Fixer is Gilles Perrault (Being Human). Executive Producers are Irene Litinsky (Being Human), Michael Prupas (The Kennedys), Gene Stein and Christina O'Shea-Daly
