"10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT" STARRING HENRY ROLLINS RETURNS TO H2(TM) NEW SEASON PREMIERES SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 AT 10:00PM ET/11PT

New York, NY - August 4, 2014 - Did you know that the flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner had two extra stripes? Or that a century ago, camels roamed the Texas Prairie? H2 presents another season of 10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT, starring punk rock icon, author and actor Henry Rollins as he uncovers crazy new twists and tidbits behind the historical tales, figures, and places you only thought you knew. The series returns on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00PM ET/11PT on H2.

In the new season of 10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT, viewers will learn the true story of the American flag and journey through Texas to reveal the epic past of the Lone Star State. From the American Revolution to the famous minds of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla, Henry's travels across the country will leave even the hungriest history fan craving more.

"I can't think of a host and a series that better embodies the spirit of H2: a smart, surprising and entertaining new look at History," says Paul Cabana, SVP, Head of Programming, H2.

In 10 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT, Henry wants to see the odd, the fascinating, the shocking... and he's taking viewers on a journey into the past unlike any other. He'll encounter wild personalities, national treasures, and provocative details about some of America's most fascinating subjects. Whether he's glimpsing little-seen artifacts at the Smithsonian, diving to explore a forgotten shipwreck, or revealing the obscure story from the street corner you walk past everyday - Henry's on a mission to discover 10 Things that both casual and serious history fans need to know.

10 Things You Don't Know About is produced by Asylum Entertainment for H2. Steven Michaels, Jonathan Koch, Stuart Chait, Ryann Lauckner and Rebekah Fry serve as executive producers for Asylum Entertainment. Brian Meere and Paul Cabana serve as executive producers for H2.
