"SHARK AFTER DARK" RETURNS FOR A SECOND SEASON WITH CELEBRITY GUESTS, SHARK EXPERTS AND HOST JOSH WOLF
(Los Angeles, CA) SHARK WEEK, television's longest running must-see summer TV event, returns to Discovery Channel for its 27th year on Sunday, August 10. Following its highly successful initial run in 2013, the late-night live talk show SHARK AFTER DARK will be making its sophomore debut on the small screen with comedian Josh Wolf, best known for his regular appearances on E!'s Chelsea Lately, returning as host. SHARK AFTER DARK premieres Sunday, August 10 at 11PM ET/PT and will air during SHARK WEEK through Thursday, August 14 at 11PM - 12AM ET/PT.
SHARK AFTER DARK is produced by Sony owned Embassy Row and Green Mountain West. Each night Wolf, alongside his wise-cracking sidekick Bob the Shark (Bob Oschack) and social media correspondent Taryn Southern, will chat with celebrity guests, shark experts and lead viewers through an hour-long celebration of all things shark-related. Viewers will once again have the opportunity to interact live on-air with tweets, questions to the shark experts, and more.

SHARK WEEK shows no signs of slowing down. SHARK WEEK 2013 was the most-watched SHARK WEEK in the event's 26 year history across all key demos including Persons, Men and Women 25-54/18-49/18-34 delivery*. In addition, SHARK AFTER DARK out-delivered every late-night cable talk show competitor in both Persons 25-54 and 18-49 delivery. The nightly talk show also beat its late-night cable talk show competition among the coveted Persons 18-34 demo**. During the calendar week from August 5-11, Discovery Channel ranked as the #1 network in all of television among Men 18-49 delivery, no exclusions***. SHARK WEEK 2013 on Discovery Channel was watched by 53.169 million viewers (P2+), of which 26.387 million were persons aged 25-54 years old****.
