"Nitro Circus: The Movie" To Make Its World Television Premiere on MTV2 October 1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT

NEW YORK, NY (September 15, 2014) - MTV2 today announced that the all-new fourth season of "Nitro Circus Live" will premiere with two back-to-back 30 minute episodes on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2. For the first time, the TV series descends upon the birthplace of Nitro Circus: the U.S.A. The crew doesn't disappoint the homeland audience, bringing high adrenaline, heart-pounding action and larger than life personalities. Travis Pastrana, Nitro Circus founder, ringleader and 10-time X Games gold medalist, leads the crew as they kick off the tour with a heart-stopping show in historic Boston and sell out the crown jewel of arenas: Madison Square Garden in New York City. The rest of the season, which includes eight total episodes, will take the audience on an up-close and personal look into the adventures and lives of the most colorful characters on the Nitro Circus tour as they travel throughout North America and Europe. In "Nitro Circus: The Movie," Pastrana and his tight-knit, highly-skilled, adrenaline-addicted friends bring their impossible, ridiculous, insane and hysterical adventures to the big screen for the first time. Dreaming up the most dangerous stunts in the world of action sports - whether they are trying to back flip a bike over a building 60-stories high or landing a death defying jump while playing Angry Birds - Pastrana and his gang are always at it.

The Nitro Circus Live tour showcases over 40 of the world's best action sports athletes performing daring and often record-breaking tricks in freestyle motocross, BMX and skateboarding, along with heart-stopping stunts on unique contraptions rarely attempted outside of the Nitro Circus family. Featuring the stars of Nitro Circus' hit MTV2 show and Nitro Circus 3D film, the tour is headed up by Pastrana, a 10-time X Games gold medalist in Freestyle Motocross who has also become a fixture on the NASCAR, Supercross and rally racing circuits.
