CMT'S HIGHEST-RATED SERIES EVER "PARTY DOWN SOUTH" KEEPS THE PARTY GOING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON WITH TWO ALL-NEW, ONE-HOUR SPECIALS

"Party Down South: Drunksgiving" Premieres November 20 and "Party Down South: Christmas Hangover," December 18

NASHVILLE - October 20, 2014 - Heat up your turkey fryer and spike the egg nog because this holiday season CMT brings back America's favorite partiers in two all-new, one-hour PARTY DOWN SOUTH specials. PARTY DOWN SOUTH: DRUNKSGIVING premieres Thursday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT and PARTY DOWN SOUTH: CHRISTMAS HANGOVER premieres Thursday, December 18 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT. Encore airings of both specials to be announced soon.

This Thanksgiving, America's most adored dysfunctional redneck family comes together to count their blessings, pound shots and catch up on their fighting in PARTY DOWN SOUTH: DRUNKSGIVING. Since they consider themselves family, the whole cast decides Thanksgiving should be spent with each other. The gang rents a house and spends a few wild nights together funneling beer, deep frying turkeys, and reflecting on all the things they're thankful for -- like Marlins, Sharks and the Beerzooka.

And going home for Christmas with the cast of PARTY DOWN SOUTH is anything but normal. Whether it's Lyle's duck call caroling, Lauren's tacky sweater party, Murray getting his annual Christmas tattoo or Mattie ringing in 2015 as "Martha," the cast definitely have some off-the-wall redneck family holiday traditions which they'll reveal in PARTY DOWN SOUTH: CHRISTMAS HANGOVER.
