THE CW AT THE TCA WINTER PRESS TOUR... - Original cast member Steven R. McQueen will depart "The Vampire Diaries" in episode 13 this season however his character, Jeremy Gilbert, may return on a recurring basis (EW.com); The CW is in "preliminary discussions" for a new DC Comics series set in the same universe as the "Arrow" and "The Flash" with Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer potentially a participant (EW.com); president Mark Pedowitz indicated that this is "not necessarily" the final season of "Hart of Dixie," which was not part of its massive pickups today (TVLine.com); "Beauty and the Beast" will return for season three in late May/June (TVLine.com); and veteran "Supernatural" may try another backdoor pilot spin-off next season (Deadline.com).
