Highly-Anticipated Feature-Length Documentary To Premiere Saturday, February 21st at 9 PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES (January 12, 2015) - SHOWTIME has announced the premiere date for KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE. The feature-length documentary is set to premiere on Saturday, February 21st at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Compelling and revelatory, this highly-anticipated film captures Kobe Bryant like you've never seen before.

"KOBE BRYANT'S MUSE will offer viewers a deep character portrait of a professional athlete who has transcended his sport to become a culture-moving personality," said Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President and General Manager, SHOWTIME Sports(R). "We are thrilled that Kobe has given us this unprecedented access, which will allow our viewers to witness such a pivotal moment in the life of one of the NBA's greatest players."

Bryant, an 18-year veteran and 16-time NBA All-Star, has earned five NBA Championships during his time in the league. At this critical juncture in his career, viewers will watch as Bryant attempts to cement his legacy, opening a window into the mind of an elite athlete still motivated to be the best, but also contemplating life after sports.

The film is directed by Gotham Chopra and is executive produced by Kobe Bryant and Gotham Chopra in association with Mamba Media.
