TIME TO PLAY WOULD YOU RATHER NAT GEO WILD JOINS THE POPULAR GAME WITH vWOULD YOU RATHER" WILD WEDNESDAYS THIS FEBRUARY

Would You Rather Watch ... Fur OR Scales? Tiny OR Big? Swim OR Slither? Hot OR Cold?

VIEWERS CAN VOTE VIA SOCIAL MEDIA STARTING TODAY TO DETERMINE THE PRIME-TIME LINEUP EACH WEDNESDAY IN FEBRUARY

Would You Rather Wednesdays Begins Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, At 8 PM ET/PT on Nat Geo WILD

(WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jan. 28, 2015) WOULD YOU RATHER? A popular game that has taken the country - and social media - by storm. So big, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kicked off the Golden Globes with a friendly game of Would You Rather ... Colin Farrell or Colin Firth? Ed Norton or Mark Ruffalo?

Whether you're playing PG versions with your family or R-rated versions at the local bar, the game has taken on a life of its own. And now, Nat Geo WILD is the first network to get into the fray, letting viewers decide what programming they want to watch with the first-ever Would You Rather WILD Wednesdays in February.

Beginning today through Feb. 24, viewers choose the programming they would rather watch by voting via Facebook (Facebook.com/NatGeoWILD) and Twitter (@NatGeoWild). Each week, voting begins every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. ET and ends the following Tuesday at midnight. Viewers will decide if they would rather watch tiny or big animals, furry or scaly ones, ones that swim or slither, or ones that live in a hot or cold climate.

And starting Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT, the winning theme programming will go live on our air. Our Would You Rather Wednesdays follow the popular second annual Fish Bowl, premiering live during the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m. ET/PT; and our Groundhog Day marathon, Monday, Feb. 2, featuring the special American Beaver airing each hour of the day from 7 a.m.-3 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3.

For more information, visit www.WILDWouldYouRather.com, www.natgeowild.com, and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/NGC_PR.

To make their Would You Rather WILD Wednesday choices, viewers will vote for the types of animals they want to see by using the week's hashtag to pick their favorite. Here's a look at what's in store this February:

Voting Begins Would You Rather Watch to See What Lineup Wins

Jan. 28 #WILDfur vs #WILDscales Feb. 4

Feb. 4 #WILDtiny vs #WILDbig Feb. 11

Feb. 11 #WILDswim vs #WILDslither Feb. 18

Feb. 18 #WILDhot vs #WILDcold Feb. 25

To help make your choices, here is a rundown of what to expect:

· For #WildFur we'll see fury animals such as ice bears, wolves and cheetahs, versus #WildScales, where we'll see animals such as bluefin tuna, crocodiles and deadly snakes.

· For #WildTiny, it's not just the cute ones; we'll include snow babies, hummingbirds and killer shrimp, versus #WildBig, which includes the king of the sea - killer whales - apes and giant pandas.

· For #WildSwim, prepare yourselves for blue whales and sharks, versus #WildSlither, which features the sneaky animals, including king cobras and anacondas.

· Finally, for #WildHot, we're bringing wildlife straight from Africa to your living room; these include the African butterfly fish and eel catfish, versus #WildCold, where we'll see our favorite camping friends, bears and caribou.

So, whether you are a closet Would You Rather junkie or THAT person at a party asking the burning questions, we hope you'll enjoy our month-long game of Would You Rather. Amy Poehler said it best: "We'll prove it right now by doing what you're all doing at home: Playing a game of Who Would You Rather."
