PIVOT AND SKY ATLANTIC GREENLIGHT SEASON TWO OF THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED DRAMA SERIES "FORTITUDE"

LOS ANGELES (April 9, 2015) �- Participant Media's television network, Pivot, and Sky Atlantic, today announced a second season of the highly praised drama, "Fortitude," ahead of the finale of the first season, tonight at 10 p.m. ET.

Called "engrossing" (Associated Press) and "worth watching for the icy-cool atmospherics alone" (Entertainment Weekly), the first season of the Sky/Pivot original series launched in January on Pivot to critical acclaim, quickly becoming the most popular original series for the network to date.

The first season of "Fortitude," led by an all-star cast including Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon, Sofie Grabol, Richard Dormer and Christopher Eccleston, told the story of a close-knit community thrown into turmoil by a violent crime. Above-average temperatures in the Arctic town reveal more than just a crime, and "Fortitude" transports viewers through a world of intrigue and suspense.
