6-Week Contest to Feature Seamless Product Integrations and Custom Vignettes

Beginning May 1st, Hallmark Channel's two-time Emmy(R)-nominated lifestyle program, Home & Family, will open its doors to the network's 2nd annual home improvement sweepstakes, Renew-it-All. Following the initiative's successful launch in 2014, Renew-it-All will be back in a major way, guaranteeing one lucky family the chance to renovate and improve their home for a grand prize total that values at over $30,000.

The sweepstakes, which will run for 6 weeks, encompasses a series of weekly renovation-themed segments on Home & Family with hosts Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare demonstrating how viewers can "renew" their own homes. The segments will highlight key sponsors Lumber Liquidators, back for a second year, and Mattress Firm, a first-time partner, with custom "how-to moment" vignettes and integrations, including tips on choosing the perfect hardwood flooring and how to improve the quality of sleep, among others. Additionally, on May 19th, Lumber Liquidators will invite Paige Hemmis, Home & Family resident DIY expert, and Jay Quickel, Vice President of Merchandising at Lumber Liquidators, to their Monrovia, CA store location to discuss finding the right floor for your home.

"Back for its second year, Renew-it-All presents a special opportunity for advertisers to communicate with viewers through seamless integrations on Home & Family," said Ed Georger, executive vice president, advertising sales and digital media, Crown Media Family Networks. Social media will also play a role, with Hallmark Channel and Home & Family's Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest platforms supporting the sweepstakes with Renew-it-All updates and related posts. Additionally, the contest will be promoted in an on-screen graphic during the show each week. Once the Renew-it-All sweepstakes concludes on June 12th, the winner will appear on a special episode of Home & Family to receive expert home renovation suggestions on how to use their grand prize winnings.

Home & Family is an original two-hour lifestyle show that airs weekdays on Hallmark Channel, featuring segments on cooking, crafting, DIY, decorating, fitness, health, and more.
