MIRAMAX'S "FROM DUSK TILL DAWN: THE SERIES" RENEWED FOR A THIRD SEASON ON EL REY NETWORK

Season Two Finale with Guest Appearance by Demi Lovato Airs Tuesday, October 27 on El Rey Network at 9pm ET

SANTA MONICA, CA / AUSTIN, TX (October 26, 2015) - Miramax(R) and El Rey announced today that their one-hour scripted original, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," has been renewed for a third season. Hailed as "radically different... a fascinating ride" by the Associated Press, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" will air its season two finale with guest star Demi Lovato on El Rey Network on Tuesday, October 27 at 9PM ET.

A reimagining of Robert Rodriguez's 1996 iconic movie From Dusk Till Dawn, which Miramax(R) also released theatrically at the time, the TV show expands on the fascinating supernatural crime saga centered around brothers Seth and Richie Gecko.

"I'm so friggin excited that we are moving forward with another season of 'From Dusk Till Dawn: the Series," said Rodriguez. "This show has a passionate following, and I just love making it and directing episodes. We have a killer cast and the characters have gotten even more layered and magnetic and I can't wait to take this story even further."

"Renewing the show for a third season seemed only natural given the tremendous team involved, led of course by Robert Rodriguez, Carlos Coto, our stellar cast, and our fascinating 'Dusk' universe that is like a never-ending well for unique storytelling," said Zanne Devine, Miramax's EVP of Film & TV.

Following a harrowing encounter with the mythical culebras inhabiting the infamous Twister nightclub in the first season, season two sees the Gecko brothers venturing down separate paths. Seth Gecko is hiding out with Kate Fuller in a slummy motel, while Richie Gecko thinks he has found his new partner in crime in Santánico Pandemonium, the seductive culebra queen from the Twister. Crime lord Carlos Madrigal and Kate's brother Scott Fuller emerge from deep within the Twister's hidden Labyrinth as changed men. And all are headed for an explosive showdown with the dark and sinister Lord Malvado and his lethal henchman The Regulator.

Season two of "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" was produced by Miramax(R) in association with Rodriguez International Pictures, FactoryMade Ventures and Sugarcane Entertainment, and stars D.J. Cotrona (Dear John, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Seth Gecko, Zane Holtz (Holes, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) as Richie Gecko, Jesse Garcia (Quinceañera, "Sons of Anarchy") as Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez, Eiza González ("True Love") as Santánico Pandemonium, Wilmer Valderrama ("Minority Report," "That 70s Show") as Carlos Madrigal, Madison Davenport (Noah, "Shameless") as Kate Fuller, Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder, Ender's Game) as Scott Fuller, Jake Busey (Motorcycle Gang, Contact) as Professor "Sex Machine" Tanner, Danny Trejo (Machete film franchise, From Dusk Till Dawn film franchise) as The Regulator, Esai Morales ("The Brink," "NYPD Blue," La Bamba) as Lord Malvado, Jeff Fahey ("Lost," "Justified," "Texas Rising") as Uncle Eddie, and Briana Evigan (Step Up 2) as Sonja Lamb. Demi Lovato guest stars in the last two episodes of season two. Executive producers are Robert Rodriguez, showrunner Carlos Coto, writer Diego Gutierrez, FactoryMade Ventures and El Rey Network co-founders John Fogelman and Cristina Patwa, and Miramax's Zanne Devine and Daniel Pipski.

"From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" season three will continue the Gecko brother saga as they fight the culebra underworld.

Miramax(R) distributes "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" internationally in all territories.
