AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE (ABC) - Meg Donnelly has joined the cast of the new comedy as Taylor, "the eldest of the three Otto children who was an awkward homely dork up until about three months ago when she suddenly got beautiful and is embarking on a new stage in her life." She replaces Johnny Sequoyah from the original pilot. (Deadline.com)
ELEMENTARY (CBS) - Nelsan Ellis ("True Blood") has been tapped for a three-episode arc as Shinwell Johnson, "a former drug dealer who's struggling to get his life back on track after a long stint in prison. A surgical patient of Watson's (Lucy Liu) more than a decade ago, Shinwell reappears in her life as a helpful tipster in a murder investigation." (TVLine.com)
GRIMM (NBC) - Chris McKenna ("State of Affairs") will guest on the series as Lt. Grossante, "a formidable and driven military-type cop." (TVLine.com)
