Now, Investigation Discovery (ID) transports viewers back to the pivotal era that's as rich with nostalgia as it's fraught with violence in the all-new series THE 1980'S: THE DEADLIEST DECADE. Premiering Monday, November 14 at 9/8c, the six-part series showcases the landmark crimes and chilling mysteries that defined this perilous time in our nation's history.

The Yuppie Murder premieres Monday, November 14 at 9/8c

A young couple, The Stuarts, are robbed and shot in Boston. Carol and her unborn child are killed, but Charles survives despite his injuries. Charles describes their assailant to police - a young, black man. The random nature of the crime instantly becomes front page news and inflames racial tensions, until a surprise witness comes forward with a story that blows open the case.

The Preppy Murder premieres Monday, November 21 at 9/8c

Beautiful teenager Jennifer Levin is found strangled to death in Central Park and prep school heartthrob, Robert Chambers, is arrested for the crime. The press seizes on his provocative claim that Jennifer's death happened accidently during "rough sex." A sensational trial follows with a fateful question in the balance: Is Robert telling the truth or did he kill Jennifer in cold blood?

The Cheerleader Murder premieres Monday, November 28 at 9/8c

In a wealthy California suburb, 15-year-old cheerleader Kirsten Costas is stabbed to death just steps away from her suburban home.
