ANIMAL PLANET ANNOUNCES "SUPER CUTE HOLIDAY WEEK" FEATURING FAN-FAVORITE PROGRAMMING
The 13 Days of Festive Episodes and Sneak Peeks at New Programming Begins Monday, December 12
(New York - December 1, 2016) - Animal Planet's December is merry and bright with SUPER CUTE HOLIDAY WEEK - 13 fun-filled days of festive episodes, adorable animals and sneak peeks from upcoming new and returning series. This two-week celebration kicks off Monday, December 12 and "wraps" Sunday, December 25.
SUPER CUTE HOLIDAY WEEK spreads the joy of the season by bringing back "spruced-up", fan-favorite specials from holidays past while spiking the days with all-new holiday fare. In a special TREEHOUSE MASTERS episode, Pete and his merry men - donning festive cheer from head to toe - trek deep into the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to build a treehouse for one of their own; on a new TANKED, Wayde and Brett team up with singer Ali Simpson to donate a tank to Hurley Medical Center for her charity - Children's Miracle Network; and in a "re-lit" MONSTERS INSIDE ME, the holidays aren't so merry when parasites are eating away at your brain.
If there isn't a fire roaring in the background on Christmas morning, viewers can tune into SUPER CUTE YULE LOG - a compellation of holiday scenes featuring fluffy puppies, cuddly kittens, baby goats and more frolicking to seasonal tunes. Keep the slippers on, grab a cup of eggnog and enjoy the hour-long aww-dorableness.
SUPER CUTE HOLIDAY WEEK is the gift that keeps on giving with exclusive looks at programming premiering in 2017. Viewers will be introduced to all-new series such as ANIMAL NATION WITH ANTHONY ANDERSON, THE GUARDIANS (wt) and THE ZOO and re-introduced to popular returning shows such as: DR. JEFF: ROCKY MOUNTAIN VET, FINDING BIGFOOT, PUPPY BOWL and TREEHOUSE MASTERS.
Fans of Animal Planet should also be on the lookout for special appearances from network talent.
