EGYPT SHERROD AND NANCY O'DELL HOST HGTV'S 'ROSE PARADE 2017'

New York [For Immediate Release - December 7, 2016] HGTV will ring in the New Year by showcasing festive floral floats, high-stepping horses and spirited marching bands during its live and commercial-free coverage of the 128th Rose Parade on Monday, January 2, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. HGTV star Egypt Sherrod (Flipping Virgins) and Emmy(R) Award-winning entertainment journalist Nancy O'Dell will provide real-time commentary throughout the spectacular parade, themed "Echoes of Success" - a celebration of the people, institutions and organizations that help in the success of others. DIY Network's Josh Temple (House Crashers) will also be in the middle of the street-side action as he reports live along Pasadena's Colorado Boulevard with exclusive interviews from spectators and float riders.

"This is my first time hosting the Rose Parade and I'm so excited about this year's theme," said Egypt. "I can't think of a better way to begin the New Year than celebrating those that positively influence their communities."
